Canadian Bowl Games

Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) plays three bowl games across the four football conferences. These are the Vanier Cup, the Uteck Bowl and the Mitchell Bowl. The four conference champions compete in either the Mitchell Bowl or Uteck Bowl with the winners of each of those games then playing for the national championship in the Vanier Cup.

The officiating crews for bowl games consist of select CIS officials from across Canada.

The four CIS conferences are the Canada-West football conference (CW), the Ontario University Athletics football conference (OUA), Quebec Intercollegiate Football Conference (QIFC), and Atlantic University Sport football conference (AUS).

The Vanier Cup

The CIS national football championship is the Vanier Cup. In 2008, the Vanier Cup was played in Hamilton on Saturday, November 22nd.

The Uteck Bowl
